Encomium Sever

Just shut out their growing fear,
of which entirely in twisted denial,
and leave it only to spread,
or even better still, folks,
take it on as yourself instead.

Your grip is too tenacious,
neither of us is strong enough,
to break free for defense,
so we don’t bother attempting,
can’t get caught in making waves.

Great things that we ought to try,
boys, girls, and who is left over,
everyone in reach from the world,
I want to let us all know right now,
before it’s sorely forgotten again.

Crazy since I was a tiny child riding,
as long as you avoid my sickness,
you’ll truly create a secure way through,
barely missing the worst of your mistakes,
cooling a fever with a few empty lines.

Bye, my babies, losing their control,
steadily persistent as prices eternally rise,
a lonesome soul torn deep underneath,
ignorantly long-thought amply protected,
feelings are a treat until they viciously turn.
