Midstream

Again, totally void of explanations,
but that’s clearly not important,
when you’re honestly only speaking with yourself,
and would probably never survive the back talk,
constantly battling inside the gross inanity,
obstructing those insidiously fierce tsunamis,
to demonstrate your sincere gratitude,
so we don’t have to read anyone else’s nonsense.

Geez, you would think maybe a few,
out of many thousands,
could imagine that being quite a safe bet,
especially when you’ll lose at least a couple,
just over what is finally decided,
either way or at last forgoing it all,
while you’re obviously now gaining landslides,
because they’ve been abjectly simplified.

Please, how the hell do we vote,
with our thoughts or money,
of course it’s both, isn’t it,
then why am I supposedly falling behind,
as I’ve given plenty of each, haven’t I,
yet you still keep on calling me a victim,
or am I merely misunderstanding,
don’t you think we’re owed more detailed answers?
